The Patterson Club
Racquet Sports

The Racquets Facilities offer tennis, pickleball, and paddle along with extensive social spaces and a recently renovated Pro Shop.

Tennis & Pickleball

The Patterson Club maintains six Har-Tru tennis courts, and one hard-surface court. The hard-surface court may be used for both tennis and pickleball. The latest in efficient court lighting is available on courts one through five and support a vibrant evening tennis scene at The Patterson Club. Members and their guests enjoy socializing on the newly installed bluestone patio with firepit and in the comfort of shade beneath a pergola with contemporary white furnishing. The tennis facility is available from early April through late October.

The tennis attire policy requires the wearing of predominantly white tennis clothing. Bathing trunks and suits, jeans, cut-offs, jogging shorts, gym shorts, and t-shirts are not permitted in the tennis area. Predominantly white headgear may be worn. People not appropriately attired will not be allowed to use the facilities.

Paddle

Five state-of-the-art paddle courts surround a modern paddle hut with interior and exterior stone fireplaces and large deck. The courts and hut are available year-round with extensive programming running from September through March.

The Patterson Club supports Paddle Against Hunger, a member-initiated 24-hour paddle marathon to benefit the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. Members and their guests enjoy music, camaraderie, and lively matches as they raise money for our Fairfield County neighbors in need.

Pro Shop

Racquet sports equipment, apparel, and restringing services are available in the newly renovated pro shop.
