Christopher Kenney - PGA Head Golf Professional
Christopher Kenney is the Head Golf Professional at The Patterson Club in Fairfield, CT where he has directed the Golf Operations for the past 14 years. Prior to joining Patterson Chris had been a member of the Professional teams at Sleepy Hollow Country Club, Ridgewood Country Club (NJ), Bethesda Country Club, The Pittsburgh Field Club and the Bonita Bay Club and he played collegiate golf at Susquehanna University. While at Susquehanna, his team won their conference in 1991 & 1992.
Chris has been recognized by the American Golf Merchandisers as operating one of the top 100 Golf Shops in the Country in 2013, the Merchandiser of the Year for the Metropolitan PGA, Assistant Professional of the Year in the Middle Atlantic PGA and a US Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Instructor in 2008 & 2009. Chris is a proud member of the PGA of America and dedicated to the growth of golf at The Patterson Club.
Michael T. Bulger - PGA Director of Player Development
Michael T. Bulger returns for his tenth year as the Director of Player Development at The Patterson Club. For the last 18 years, Michael has observed and trained under some of the most sought out instructors and academies. Before joining Patterson, Michael taught for eight years in the Pinehurst Golf Academy under Top 100 Teachers by GOLF Magazine, Eric Alpenfels and Dr. Bob Christina at the Pinehurst Resort, site of the 2014 Men's and Women's US Opens.
Michael, a 2015 US Kids Golf Top 50 Master Kids Instructor, brings a unique combination of teaching and coaching skills to The Patterson Club. He specializes in designing training sessions that incorporate providing the proper training environment, improving movement patterns and the latest research in motor learning. He was also nominated as a Best Young Instructor for Connecticut by Golf Digest in 2012-2013. Michael is a proud member of the PGA of America and has a BS in Accounting from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
